Background
The company was formed in 1997 as an electrical company and worked with companies such as SAB, SAA, Afric Oil, Rand Water Board, Erwart, Oil Companies, Transnet, Governmet Departments, Eskom, Consulting Engineers and the Constructions industry at large. Nehanda Electrical has successfully completed projects such as Montecasino in Fourways, Sandton Convention Centre, new Johannesburg Domestic Terminal just to name a few. in 1998, the company saw the need to trade under the name Bashumi Marketing, thereby creating four divisions namely Bashumi Communications, Bashumi Foods, Bashumi Electrical and Bashumi Properties.
